Information We Collect
We have designed the Site so that you are not required to provide personally identifiable information unless you are signing up for certain Site features. The Site collects personally identifiable information from you when you voluntarily communicate with AGA by (1) registering for a Global Gaming Women webinar, event or mailing list, (2) completing a form or survey, or (3) emailing a staff member of AGA. Personally identifiable information is information such as your name, physical address, e-mail address, telephone number or credit card information, when it can be linked to you or used to identify you.
In addition, our web servers automatically collect and log web usage data and other non-personal information from you when you visit the Site. This information, including your IP address, referring site, pages viewed and length of visit, informs us about how visitors use and navigate our Site. We may also use a third party service such as Google Analytics to track trends and Site usage.
How We Use and Share Information Collected
We use personally identifiable information provided to us on the Site to provide requested services, respond to your request or feedback and to improve the content and effectiveness of the Site. In addition to the purpose for which you originally submitted the information, we may use the information you provide to make you aware of other benefits, products or events of AGA and its affiliated entities. We may also combine the personally identifiable information you provide to us on the Site with information we obtain offline or from other third party sources.
In addition, we may use and share with others aggregated and/or anonymous (not personally identifiable) information that we have collected based on web-usage data or statistical information that we have compiled about our users.
If we sell all or part of our business or make a sale or transfer of assets or are otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, we may transfer your personally identifiable information to a third party as part of that transaction.
If your personally identifiable information changes, if you no longer wish to receive a specific service or communication from us, or if you wish to inquire about information that we have collected on our Site, please contact us at email@example.com, and we will correct, update, or remove your details or process your request to be removed from our communications and services.
While we have measures in place to help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and make proper use of the information that we collect, no transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information you provide to us.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information on the Site from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personally identifiable information on a child under the age of 13 we will delete that information.
