Information We Collect
We have designed the Site so that you are not required to provide personally identifiable information unless you are signing up for certain Site features. The Site collects personally identifiable information from you when you voluntarily communicate with GGW by (1) registering for a Global Gaming Women webinar, event, online account or mailing list, (2) completing a form or survey, or (3) emailing a staff member of GGW. Personally identifiable information includes your name, physical address, e-mail address, or telephone number (“Personal Information”).
In addition, our web servers automatically collect and log General Information regarding your activities when you visit the Site that does not identify you personally. “General Information” includes your IP address, referring site, your geographic location, pages viewed and length of visit, which informs us about how visitors use and navigate our Site. We use Google Analytics, which is a third party service, to track trends and Site usage through General Information provided by your visit to the Site.
How We Use and Share Information Collected
We use Personal Information provided to us on the Site to provide requested services, respond to your request or feedback and to improve the content and effectiveness of the Site. In addition to the purpose for which you originally submitted the information, we may use the information you provide to make you aware of other benefits, products or events of GGW and its affiliated entities. We may also combine Personal Information you provide to us on the Site with information we obtain offline or from other third party sources.
In addition, we may share General Information, such as aggregated user statistics, with affiliated and non-affiliated third parties.
If we sell all or part of our business or make a sale or transfer of assets or otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, are adjudicated bankrupt or are liquidated or otherwise reorganize, your Personal Information may be transferred, sold or otherwise conveyed to a third party as part of that transaction. You consent to any and all such conveyances of your Personal Information.
If your personally identifiable information changes, if you no longer wish to receive a specific service or communication from us, or if you wish to inquire about information that we have collected on our Site, please contact us at email@example.com, and we will correct, update, or remove your details or process your request to be removed from our communications and services.
If you are a resident of the State of California, you may request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the Personal Information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org . For all requests, you must put the statement “Your California Privacy Rights” in the body of your request as well as your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. Please note that we will not accept requests via the telephone, mail, or by facsimile, and we are not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, or that do not have complete information.
California Do Not Track Disclosure
