Senior Director, Product Marketing for Mobile, PlaySpot and North America Sports Betting, IGT
Anika Howard leads Product Marketing for IGT’s Mobile, PlaySpot and North America Sports Betting organization.  She is responsible for overall strategy and marketing responsibilities for expanding IGT’s mobile and sports betting services and solutions in North America. Her department drives the design, development, and marketing for the PlaySpot solution for land- based global casino customers. She joins the GGW Board with close to 20 years of experience in the gaming and entertainment industries. Her focus is innovation and transformative technologies. She continues to advocate for using technology to create compelling and engaging customer experiences. Prior to joining IGT, Anika founded and managed a boutique interactive agency – AHA Management and Consulting, Inc.  She provided consulting services to Northstar Lottery Group and launched the first US based iLottery solution for the Illinois Lottery.   As an executive for IGT she’s led several ground breaking initiatives for iLottery, iGaming, Mobile and Interactive. 

Anika held several executive level marketing positions with Caesars Entertainment.  As a Marketing Director for the Southern Nevada Region, Anika developed innovative interactive marketing campaigns that increased profitability and drove hotel occupancy.  Her responsibilities included developing and executing strategies for on-line advertising, social media, email marketing and acquisition, and on-line customer service.  She worked closely with senior marketers and executives to help integrate Harrah’s on-line initiatives into the overall marketing and customer service strategy of the company. 

Anika started her gaming career with Harrah’s Entertainment as a President’s Associate and then went on to establish and lead the Corporate Internet Marketing department.  During her tenure, she led several large scale Interactive Marketing, Social Media, Mobile projects.

She holds a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and Masters of Science in Information Management (M.S.I.M.) from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science with a focus in International Marketing and Information Technology from the University of Maryland.
