The Global Gaming Women Charitable Education Fund provides a number of educational offerings for industry women looking to advance their careers or emerging leaders pursuing a career in gaming. About the Leadership Development ConferenceOverviewThe Global Gaming Women Charitable Education Fund (GGW) provides educational opportunities to women pursuing a career in gaming by providing access to personal and professional development conferences held throughout the year.
Leadership Development Applicant CriteriaApplications for the Leadership Development Conference are available to women working in the gaming industry who have an interest in expanding their knowledge, acquiring gaming skills and making a positive contribution to the gaming industry.
Please note: You are not eligible for a scholarship if you have attended a Leadership Development Conference in the past year.
The following list includes all of the requirements needed in order to be considered as a scholarship recipient.
Scholarship recipients will be selected by the GGW Scholarship Selection Committee. Scholarship funds will be applied towards all conference attendance and program fees. Once paid, scholarship funds will not be refunded to recipient. All travel, lodging and other expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. A discounted room rate will be available at the at the location where the conference will be held for participants. By submitting your application, you agree to cover the costs of your travel, lodging and any other expenses you acquire. The conference may be held on casino property which would require award recipient to show ID to access conference. Valid ID and ability to legally access conference site may be required. Please note there are limited awards available, and only twenty four women will be chosen to attend this conference with a maximum of two awards per same company. Scholarship recipients will need to check with their Tax Advisor regarding the tax implications of receipt of the scholarship. This award may be considered a taxable award if recipients are not pursuing a degree. Please note that to be eligible to receive a GGW scholarship, you must be a registered GGW participant in good standing.
