Founded in 2016, GGW is a 501(c)(3) independent charitable organization that empowers women in the gaming industry through high‑impact programs, mentorship, education, and global networking events. Guided by a commitment to diversity, GGW creates opportunities for exposure and career advancement for women of all backgrounds.

Membership is free!

GGW offers a variety of resources, both in‑person and virtually. These include educational conferences, executive programs, mentorship programs, speaker panels, social events, and networking opportunities. Members also have access to an online database that includes recorded events, short videos, and recommended books.

Mentorship

• Lean In Circles – Exclusive to members who identify as women, these peer groups foster connection, idea-sharing, and mutual support for women across all levels of the gaming industry.
• OneUpOneDown – Available to all members, this flexible mentorship platform connects individuals with mentors or mentees through a streamlined three-step matching process.

Education

• In-person Educational Conferences – We have a wide variety of educational conferences across the country and around the world tailored to meet your needs at different stages of your career.
• Virtual Classes – Our virtual sessions cover a wide range of topics- including leadership, communication, strategy, and personal growth. They are led by seasoned professionals from across the gaming industry.

Link and L.E.A.R.N.

• In‑person meetups around the world give professionals in the gaming industry the opportunity to connect and learn from one another.

Sponsor benefits depend on the donation tier you select. Benefits are distributed on a yearly basis, and sponsors receive a quarterly summary of redeemed and available benefits.

Kick Up Your Heels is a premier event in the gaming industry, now hosted by Global Gaming Women (GGW). The event raises funds to support GGW’s Charitable Education Fund, which provides educational scholarships to women in the gaming industry and helps advance their careers.

The event also honors outstanding women who give back to their communities through the Patty Becker Pay It Forward Award, recognizing those who uplift and support other women in the industry.
